Mixed Answers....SOOO confused

hey guys, just a simple question.

I am planning on buying the E-0777 air filter and having the dealerships install it (cuz i suck at that )...anyways, I keep calling different dealerships and each one tells me a different answer. I say "does this filter void my warranty?" I think it is quite straight forward. But these are my replies-

"uhhh probly?..ok bye"

"no ofcourse not!!!"

"hmm maybe...done(hangs up)"

"it won't void your engine, but it would void your suspension"
^ I hung up right after he said that...and laughed like this

Soooo all I want to know is if this air filter VOIDS my warranty. If your 100% on your answer, notifying me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Wow... people so worried about a warranty...

personally... and I hope you don't take too much offense to this...

if you are scared to change out an air filter... you don't have any business trying to mod a car...

Absofuckinglutely will void you're warranty, but on you're transmission

I doubt it dude. If you have qualms about it, **** the dealer and go eleswhere to do it.

Ah... the parents... why didn't you say so in the first place?

No... an air filter won't void the warranty...

Use the "I'll get better gas mileage, and never have to change it again." line with them... works every time...

The parental units won't care because the dealership won't either. Just don't make a big issue of it with the dealer or they will take all your money because you didn't do your research!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just buy it.. install it... ... the dealer and your parents wont know....

... u have no idea how simple it is. plus..... your parents wont know what u are talking about 1/2 the time when u add mods.... thats what i did when i was underage. my dad knew what i was doing and supported it and my mom thinks changing an air filter is engineering

Really easy mod. Don't spend the money on installation.
