Mod. question

Hi guys, I have an 07 SS/SC and I have some questions.

1) I hear that GM did a pretty good job when it comes to air intake and top to bottom exhaust. Is it really worth getting a cai, header and aftermarket exhaust ?

2) If I simply get a stage 2 kit, will there be a huge difference in hp from someone with the stage kit plus all bolt-ons?

I looked at the FAQ's for these answers but found nothing. Thanks guys.

there is def. info on here about all that, but ill help you out. If you are looking to just make more HP then a stage kit needs to be your first mod. once you do that you need to free up the exhaust flow and possibly and an intake. if you are interested in going fast at the track, do traction mods such as a torque dampner or mounts first.

Start with the stage kit. Move forward from there.

That's it, I'm interested in going fast but I'm never going to take the car to the track...

Intake on this car is mainly for show/sound. You might get some power, but probably not a whole lot. I felt a little extra kick in the step of my car with the intake, but thats all. The exhaust will help you out though, that was my first mod, and I love it!
