2.9 pulley, smaller belt on stock injectors and no tune = BOOM! I honestly would do atleast 42s and get it tuned and then you should be fine

definitely not, the stock injectors can't handle a 2.9".

Even with the stage 2 42lb injectors 2.9" is the lowest you would want to go and be safe. (thats with stage 2 tune, if you just get 42s make sure to get a tune)

I would find someone near you that tunes first. If you buy the stage kit from GM ur wasting money. You can get more power for less money by piecing together your own setup and having someone on here tune it for you.

To answer your initial question, you CAN NOT run a 2.9 pulley on stock tune and injectors.

or depending on if you still have/need your warranty you can go with an aftermarket stage kit and save some money + get a little extra power out of it, but it would still be best to eventually get it custom tuned

Ott kit is alright. good setup, but you'll need a tune. Their canned tune is basically just a starting point. to get it tuned correctly, the computer would have to be in the car and someone tuning as you go. Elevation and air quality as well as temps and other things go into tuning and OTT just can't give you a good tune for your area based on their parameters where they're located. Their tune will get ur car running and driveable, but you'll need someone to actually custom tune it eventually

Post up in the canada regional section and see if there's a tuner near you that could help out.
