what mods are avaible under warentee?

 

um the GMPP Exhaust if it available and the GMPP header... im thinkin thats it, everything else will only void the warranty if it messes up ur car... if you worried about warranty i wouldn't mod until GMPP upgrades and everything GMPP are available...

anyone feel available to add or correct me if im wrong...

the only mods that we are going to let threw at My dealership and the Stage Packages.. becasue GM Performance has there own warntee....
BUT...... the way around warntee which for some reason people dont understand is TAKE YOUR MODS OFF BEFOR U GO TO THE DEALER WITH AN ENGINE ISSUE......

 

they have exhaust and headers available?

what is the diffrence between the warentee that you get from the chevy dealership when u buy the car and the GM performance warentee?

 

Bumper to Bumper Warntee is 3yr-30,000 powertain 5yr-60,000 thats the basic warntee from the dealer


The GM Performance warntee is 3yr, 30,000 I think dont quote me i beleive...... idk id have to ask someone in parts tomorrow at work....

 

ok lets say i have the 5 year warentee from gm and the 3 year gm performance warentee will i need to take off my mods before i go to my dealer with an engine problem?

 

As long as u have GM Performance Parts on your car your good yull never have to take them off when u take it to the dealer that warntee is for Defects or failurs.... it covers that stuff....

 

what if all my performance parts r gm performance parts and i dont have the gm performance warentee and i only have the gm warentee that i got with the car will i be covered or do i need both warnetees?

 

As long as its GM PERFOMACE PARTS your good man... the warrntee is just for defects or if it brakes... ur Car warntee can not be voided if you have GMPP only AM performance parts..

 

am performance parts is american motors performace parts?

 

my dealearship said that as long as i dont touch the catalitic conveter or sensors or computer that i can do what ever i want like intake exuast and so fourth they said they dont care nor does gm

 

i think he means AFTERMARKET just thinking thouh could be wrong

 

My dealership said whatever is GM and they install it will be covered.
