i wasn't sure if it was suppose to do it. long time since i wound out the car like that. i was trying to push it a little blow out some of the carbon that builds up over time.

It's probably crank case pressure that's about when it will cause it to flutter -10an fitting on the valve cover to a -10an on the intake

no dude excessive ccp will pop a dipstick or make it leak around a seal or gasket not flutter at high rpm / you need to get a wideban afr such as an aem and hook it up and see whats going on with ur afr

you should get a tune. you have aftermarket mods that you should get tuned for. and buy a damn wideband

That can happen but i have been told by several reputable people (Area, Elite Cyborg) that having to much crank case pressure causes rpms to flutter around 6800rpms

You guys know what else can cause it to flutter? Too large of a spark plug gap, you may be blowing out the spark up high. Check your plugs, tighten the gap a little and see if it still happens. Sometimes people overlook the simple things...

good call on the spark blow out idea ..... My old SS/SC was finichy about gaps and would do what the OP described in the higher rpm range if the gap was higher than .035 .

I would definitely get rid of those E3 plugs and go back to NGK's ... I remember a few people had problems with that style plug.
