Motor/Tranny Mounts

Is there any difference really between the ZZP motor/tranny mounts compared to the motor/tranny mounts made by Bwoody other than the fact that ZZP's are made from billet aluminum and therefore the reason why they are so expensive? Also which one would you choose?

I agree. Unless you are going for some extreme power it will be a waste of money IMO. I personally went with TTR engine and tranny mounts. Maybe you should redo your poll and see what you get.

neither, not worth the money, DIY tranny mounts FTMFW!!! $5 of PL Premium from your local hardware store, take the front and rear mounts off, fill them with the polyurethane, and let dry for 24hrs. Reinstall them, good to go. Spend your money where it's needed more!

Well this may work for now but the failure is inevitable. I have done this in the past and it works for a little bit but being that they are two different materials they will separate and the polyurethane will crumble. Unless I am miss under standing you, and you are talking about taking the stock internal out of the mount and making a entirely new bushing. I have done it this way as well, the only thing is that you must figure out a way to make sure that you have no airbubbles in the polyurethane or they will start to crumble out as well. It is not hard it just takes a little patience.

I did the TTR inserts, took very little time, cost much less than complete mounts, even used ones, and gives the exact same effect. Gotta figure something out for my pass. side engine mount still, but right now all my wheelhop is gone unless its raining, but even then what I get is very minor compared to what I used to see, and it only happens sometimes.

there are 4 mounts, there is the front and rear tranny mount, the upper tranny mount and the motor mount which is on the passenger side of the car.
