Which mounts? & more ?'s

Looking into getting some mounts fairly soon…

Should I just get one or the other? or get all at once? or what? Get one before the other?
^ Motor, Engine, and Trans

Been looking a little at the new motor mounts from Mpx.. the torque solutions motor mounts? Look pretty nice..

Also, Will any of these help reduce spinning? Or just wheel hop?

&& I know a lot of people will recommend Powell.. So if you do, how exactly do I go about getting ahold of him? like email, or on here? If so, what's his email/username..

Thanks!

Most are going to recommend Powell as they are the true originals (this is what I plan on going with) My plan was simply trans mounts.....but maybe more will chime in with some other info

As far as getting ahold of Powell......you have to email Gloria there. However, from what I hear, they'll have a new site up and running (hopefully) in the next week or two

I have TTR upper engine mount and OTTP rotated trans mounts. I like them, they reduced wheel hop and ton and look good on the car (the upper engine mount that is)

upper mounts do nothing.. no need unless you want to look cool or something

don't count on powell's site to be up soon, was suppose to be up X years ago lol

e-mail gloria at powell's order stage 1 mounts, be happy you bought the best mounts for this car.. install drive..

look no more wheel hop.. in return for a tiny increase in vibes at idle.. if you start making crazy hp get stage 2 mounts

no i'm saying if you do get crazy hp then get stage 2 - most peeps don't need it..

Stage 1 Use's a Billet rotated front mount with a spacer under the stock rear mount. This is for sub 300whp cars. There will be very little vibration from the mounts.

Stage 2 Use's Billet front and back rotated mounts and the spacer is built into the rear mount. This is for the avid drag racer, these will have slightly more vibration then stock but nothing close to poly. Stage 2 will also help get more power to the ground, due to the mounts limiting engine movement.
Billet mounts are only for 05 and up cars. If you have an 04 please contact us as you will have a core charge on your front mount, a little longer wait period and the pricing is different.

Well considering that the products that we buy everyday are just upgrades of previous work I would say everyone. Yes Powell may have "created" the mounts, but you can't knock other companies for creating it also. That happens every single day in any product we use.

I went with Powells and I was very happy. I was surprised in the night-and-day difference between stock mounts and rotated mounts. I was expecting a change, but these were huge!

Thanks for the input. What exactly are you referring to as the night-and-day difference? Like between what? Wheel hop?

I'm still stuck between Powell, Torque Solutions from Mpx, and TTR

Yes, I am not afraid to accelerate hard in low gears anymore for fear of my engine leaving the county, or my axles breaking.

The shifting is improved and the car just feels more solid. It has a more confident feel to me.

Vibration was noticable at idle for the first 200 miles or so, but now it has subsided and all but gone away. I tried turning the AC on and that vibrates quite a bit when idling but I like to drive for the most part so the minor amount of discomfort of sitting at a light pales in every other benefit. (again this was only with AC on)
