Mounts when buying ZZP downpipe

Just curious, how many people running a zzp downpipe actually use a solid motor mount/ trans mount, or both? I know zzp requires 1 or more if using their dp. I had planned on getting a solid engine mount regardless, but I was just curious to see if anyone actually had any problems.

I run a zzp tranny mount with mine, and I can understand why they would say what they do, the engine doesn't move like it did before, I could see a flex section not being able to handle that much engine movement.

ZZP downpipes are waranted for 2 years and it doesn't matter what mounts you use or if you have changed them. Our DPs work in any config.

umm the vibes are bearable.... except if you try to let out the clutch slow in first gear just trying to get going, then the whole passanger side of my car shakes like ur in one of those big ol' trucks with a granny gear trying to start out...
But past that I like it, U feel more "in tune" with the car, in my opinion... the rattling sux though

I had fitment issues with my zzp dp, the two bolt flange was welded on at an angle so it wouldnt bolt up properly

My dp was a little off to, comes too close to that side of the car and pressed into my heat shield, i had to beat up my heatshield to get it away from it, but it got rid of the crazy sound i kept hearing from it whenever I would get on it, it did bolt up ok though, but I thought like stock it would center out in the area for it, but it didn't.
So yeah someone messed something up along the way which made fitment kind of jacked... but mine at least bolted up ok

DP is holding up well so far and have had multiple track runs as well. DP bolted up easy to my stock header and exhaust. Once i switched to the badmab it was just as easy. Got the ZZP front and Rear trans mount which eliminated all my wheel hop with minimal to no vibration.

Would just invest in both, i could definately tell a major difference.

Mine just laid against the exhaust tunnel, I couldnt even tighten it up all the way. So its pretty much useless to me. I want a DP that fits like stock, just bigger. Is that to much to ask?

so the downpipes are warranted even if you dont have any aftermarket mounts?

I have the TTR Stop Transmission mounts. Vibes arent all that bad but I have little to no wheel hop ATM.
