MSD shift Light

I was wondering if anyone is using the MSD Shift Light #8963? I'm having a though time with choosing a switch point for my hot connection. I was going to use the DAYTIME Running lights, but I don't have enough wire. So I was wondering if anyone is using this shift light and what you chose as you switch point? Also where did you tie into it?

I would really appreciate any help you guys can provide.
Thanks

A common accessory switch to tap off of is the sunroof fuse. Or just add tap into an empty accessory fuse spot.

Ok I don't have the sunroof option, but and accessory that is only hot when the key is on should work right? Also what's the best way to tap into the fuse box? Should I unbolt and come up from underneath?

You can tap into an accesory that is hot with the key on (accessory position) but I would shy away from that. I would find an empty circuit in your passenger side fuse box and then tap into it with a fuse.

OH I see. I was looking at the fuse box under the hood. Ok I'll check it out and let you know what I come up with.

Hey Cobi thanks for all the help.

Hey Cobi, I hate to keep bothering you. I'm looking for that fuse box on the passenger side and I can't find it. I don't don't see one under the dash and there is not one under the hood. I have the 2.0 S/C model, does that change things?

If you were the passenger and you moved your left foot to the left you would kick the fuse panel cover. Its black plastic and just pulls straight out. Im an SS/SC also so I know its there.
