iam going to got a custom exhaust should i go with no restrictor or keep on on there and what kind of muffle should i get that gives me a nice tone

 

straight pipe take out all restrictions, and a Magnaflow or Borla
And if ur a TC muffler delete thats my opinion GL

 

iam SC and will it pass emissions without the restrictors what size piping should i go with

 

Well im an LS with an LSJ exhaust mani, ZZP 2.5 dp with h/f cat that into 2.25 piping and that into a magnaflow, but im about to go 2.5 all the way

for you 2.5, you have any upgraded exhaust mani/dp? and yes it will pass emissions

for gods sake do not get flowmaster lol. my flowmaster couldnt handle me poping flames for 2 months. literally blew a baffle inside the muffler so now EVERYTIME i start it, it rattles loud as FACK until i drive for about 2 minutes then it goes away and gives me a rattle here and there until i repeat the cycle. pita but ya know what idc haha, im just looking out for you.

 

anything will pass in PA. no sniffers or anything of the sort comes close to your exhaust, technically they shouldnt even check if you have a cat. i dont have a cat, i say effff cats. mine melted because it couldnt handle nls

 

well restricor resonator kinda the same thing i knew what he was talkin about, or you could go to a muffler shop and you can test out different mufflers and pick wich one you want

 

get a stock tc muffler

 

The only thing they have in common would be starting and ending with the letter r

 

hmm i always thought pa had some of the more strict rules on emissions

they are as strict as philly cops are to you smoking a blunt... they turn their head lol. as long as your at a local shop. i wouldnt recommend going to a dealer where they will nickle and dime you to death

 

well i had my car in for inspection and it passed even throwing the cat efficiency code, soooo I guess not as strict as i thought
