Magnaflow and flowmaster are good general mufflers, they offer just the muffler, and also ones that are a muffler and tip.

If you have questions, PM us the brand and part number(s) and we will see what we can do for you.

I guess the Flowmasters are prone to having the insides shake loose. Mine did and it started to sound like ****. The pacesetter with an added resonator sounds awesome with no rasp at all.

Oh and the Magnaflows do have a high rasp to them. (At least from the online sound clips)

You can get it for $98.34 with FREE SHIPPING and no tax from www.performancepeddler.com (they're also an ebay seller under that name)

I have the "Street Series" version which is a lil' quieter

braddddddddd91 has a Magnaflow muffler too except he has the "Race Series" which is a lil' louder

I love my ark system. I know its a whole catback system and not just a muffler but it does sound good and it does get that backfire sound you like as well as me. I would just ahead and spend the extra money and get a catback system, the car breathes better than just a muffler.

well yes the cat-back is the way to go for performance if you got $300+ laying around

But for sound & just a few ponies....swapping the muffler will help. The stock one quiets down the system A LOT & is pretty restrictive

Well in that case, I would go magnaflow, it seems like a lot of people go that route or one called wicked.

hmm...an Oval tip???

Well it's your car.....it's gonna be different/unique for sure......99.99% of the tips I've seen on these cars are round

I would've gone with a Magnaflow tip too....they have TONS of styles & they're stainless for a really good price

As for the round body....it'll probably be louder since there is less packing/material in the muffler to quiet the sound (compared to a oval muffler)

BTW...u asked this earlier but there won't be any backfire when using the stock piping & just adding a muffler

It's your car/decision....I'm not bashing it....just giving my opinion. I've gone thru a couple different setups myself trying to find the right sound/tone I want. So maybe this will work for you, maybe it won't.

lol thx man...and the tip isnt that much of an oval, i just thought it would look cool... and wen you say "louder" in terms of getting the round body, do you think it will be a cheaper sound? like some kids honda?
