My Car Is really loud at Idle!?

Ive noticed that my car has gotten really loud at idle lately. Im not sure what it is, but its much louder then it use to be. I am a little over due for an oil change. Any idea on what could be causing this?

What do you mean by louder? Are you talking about a rattle, or what, explain with more detail.

could it just be that since it's getting warmer out you have the windows down now and are noticing how loud the car really is?

you might have messed up your flex pipe like me.. is the noise coming from the engine bay, or the exhaust?

Its coming from the engine bay and it seems as if the engine is shaking more at idle, Like an engine mount is loose or something.

are you sure you did a good job on the install of the mounts? re-tighten all of the bolts

anyone think its possible he cross-threaded one? IDK if the mounts are reverse threaded or not.. never took 'em out before.

well i would check your mounts then. did you install or did someone else? make sure everything is tight, and they're not cracked. should be able to just see by looking
