My Dyno Results! Aug 27th.

Well here it is 187.6 HP at the Wheels Bone Stock! Torq was 174. I'm happy with it because my car isnt fully broken in yet! Less than 2,500 miles on it. Boost is only at 10.5. These were all ran back to back (also shows how consistant these cars are!) Dynoed at Pacific Raceways at Battle of the Imports. Here: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...20050828165255

I have no clue why it is only at 10. Maybe it isnt broken in yet? I know people say it should be at 12, but 187 with only 10 boost seems to be pretty good?

That's a good realistic looking dyno, you should be proud.

Great results, the funniest part is that maybe most of you didn't notice, but each of SwizzDSMSS's dyno pulls ends only at 6200 RPM !!!

My SS/SC was dynoed at 191 HP @ 6250 RPM.

The next time, we should tell the mechanics to end the pulss not before 6500 RPM !

Have a nice day !

Were you in 4th gear ?

I think it is a Mustang Dyno ?

The dyno wasnt reading past 6.2 or something RPMS. I would look into the boost issue. If you were on a mustang dyno your car is still putting out the right numbers, so It might be hitting the 12.5 boost and your gauge is not showing it for some reason.

Has anyone had a problem with the gauges? One thing I do know is that when I first got my car it had 250 miles on it and it was boostin at only 9 and now I notice the boost keeps going up and up (at about 10.5 now). Is it still be "Broke in" or is the gauge at fault? Who knows cause I dont. Hell I don't really care for that matter, I'm just waiting for GM to come out the stage 1&2 so I can get more power. Oh well I'm actually somewhat happy with the results cause I havent touched anything.

Mine was putting out 12.5 when I had mine dynod, but i was watching the tach not the boost. Dont know if they gauges can me faulty or not. I say who cares? The power is there.

I contacted Autometer about this awhile ago. The gauge is controlled by a computer that wont let it go past 10 or 12.5 psi even if you're pushing 18psi.

most people on here are getting around 200-215 stock on the dyno, i dont think your car is broken in yet if you see boost keep getting higher, cuz my car feels faster with the more miles i put on it.

All dynos are different, and his dyno graph doesnt go all the way to 6500 RPMS.

Same here, am at 2500km and the motor is running stronger then ever but I still only see 10 PSI of boost.

Exactly, I think my car really isnt broken in yet. It does keep getting stronger and stronger. Went from about 8-9psi to 10psi since I have been driving it. Oh well it is still a champ in my book.
