Sooo as of right now my balt is bonestock. just got it couple weeks ago along with my license, i wanted an evo for so long but after i got my cobalt i realized that the guy at the mitsu dealership really was right when he said it was too much car for my first car. so i figure the cobalt is fast enough for now but just about everyother week ill be doing something to my car, casue thats when i get paid, so now that i have my life story out of the way i just wanted to know what some of you guys think about the plans for my car in future
This friday is tints 35's in the front 20's in the back- 150$
then here it is as i plan on

Megan Racing Exhaust
either a stage 2 Gm kit or an aftermarket Stage 4 kit, im undeicded casue the stage 2 gm kit wont completly deystroy my warranty casuse it is going to be installed by them, how ever the stage 4 kit has the 2.6 pulley and the 60# injectors which i really think would add to my car
then maybe farther down the road ill do downpipe and headers if i have some spare cash
but as for cosmetics wise here it is
18" tenzo rims (black with the redlip outside)
with free lowering springs i forget whihc brand they said.
when i get my rims i plan on painting the calipers red this way i dont have to take the wheels off twice
i really want to trade for a bigger wing instead of my low profile one.
also the carbon fiber hood with scoop would be reallly nice, but i had a question as to if anyone knows if i can just get a black hood wiht the scoop on it.
the only other thing i plan on doing would be right after i order my exhaust, i would get my prosport guages wich would consist of an EGT and Oil Temp and i would dash mount them.
i honestly dont think i ever need new racing seats in my car because the only reason i would want them would be for 5 point harness's and i dont want to deal wiht a harness bar in the back of my car.
anyway any input that you guys think i should change please let me know im free to everyones opinon if they have anything else they think i should do instead.... OH YEAH keep in mind and 17 and only get paid 8.25 an hour at my locak wallgreens haha.

Haha, too much for your first car. My first car was a 1977 Chevy Vega with a 355 Small Block. So much fun. 330 HP and 2300 pounds poor gas mileage FTW! Seriously, a cold air intake is a great first mod, I have an Ingen and love it. I've taken it to the dealer twice with it on and so far no problems with them bugging me about it. It makes the supercharger loud, which most people like. I've heard mixed things about GMPP Stage 2 I'm wating for warranty to go out and get the CA stage 4 like you're talking about.
Do most people not get the stage 4 kit because it voids your warranty like crazy? i mean it seems like the price of about $617 dollars for stage 2 kit and $749 dollars for the stage 4 kit is worth the extra money cause it adds so much power
honestly bro alot of people arent getting stage 4 because a 2.6 and even supporting mods will overspin your blower and cause problems down the road....Now i mean yah i see where you might be coming from a 600 dollar kit and a 200 dollar instalation to keep warranty well i mean if thats not your thing then wait buy the parts yourself such as 42lb injectors 3.0(stage2 pulley) or 2.9 or 2.8 which is the smallest i would go on our blower and other supporting mods along with someone who can tune with hptuners and you have done the stage 2 kit for alot cheaper but no warranty.....Now there are lots of other oppotunitys say get the gm stage 2 and change your pulley to the 2.9 pulley on the stage 2 tune which is good to do....add header, downpipe, and exhaust and youll have a car that most people on here can run low to mid 13's....Now put a 50 shot on there and youll be in the 12's or close at least
that would be fine...If your going to go that route dont get stage 2...If your ok with the warranty and 250+ hp with all bolt ons go with stage 2 and all bolt ons and your warranty either way its your decision
SOld my dirtbike for 3K, had a decent amount of money in the back before i got my car, i gave 2200 dollars to my parents for the car's insurance and i got tokeep 800 bucks for my own pleasure
