Idk man i might just wanna keep em after all lol! Was likely gonna spend the same or less amount in parts for making new ones but i garauntee my work wont be that great. Just tired of fogging problems.
Yea not worth messing with them. Ideally you want to only take them apart 1 time. More then that you are stretching the plastic and not filling all the holes 100%. I've seen great quality retros that have fogged, just the risk you take.
Best way to put them back together, especially if taking them apart multiple times, is to go to the Nissan dealership and buy a roll of headlight sealant. It is $44, but it will do couple sets of lights usually. Break off a piece, stretch it out so it fits in the groove nicely, and then obviously put them in the over and do the normal re-sealing/pushing back together process.

They are sold already lol along with my lowering springs. Both still on the car, but sold to a friend.
Thats good to know. I haven't done much with headlights for about 3 years now.

I have all parts needed except a whole timing kit, head gasket and intake mani gasket. And probly a few odds and ends.
Josh is working on the head still but i expect to have it before i starting pulling the car apart.
We have 4 different valvespring tools at our shop can one of those work instead of renting a jmoore deal
Will be dynotuned at performance autowerks by matt (omiotec)

The J-tool is designed for our cars and a few other gm cars. It's the way the springs sit in the head that makes the j-tool (kent moore) or goodson spring compressor a must.
Those standard spring compressors you see at advance auto and such will not work. Prob the ones you have at the shop.
