0.24

wow. please go kick them in the nuts first off.
and any shop that would change a 0.40 gap to 0.24 with the addition of 1lb of boost, would be my first place to look for a **** up.

I strongly recommend you put the S2 pully back on to rule out the issue of a pully problem
im almost certain its something that shop did.

i'm guessing boost bypass valve doesn't sound like a vacuum leak to me plus i think you would hear it

plus i've had mine blocked off since i owned the car and no problems and i have 26k on the clock

Well that seems right cuz your not in boost idle you should be under that 0 line. Have you seen if you can go over 10 psi yet since you reset it?

Boost bypass mod takes 1min to do and a trip down the block,just block it off and take a cruise around the block and let us know what you get

[QUOTE=Super_SS;1313295]yup...i hit 10psi by 3500rpm or so..and holds 10psi till 7k..doesnt go up nor down..just stays at 10psi[/QUOTE

With the above info its either slipping belt or bypass valve you hear no squeeling so i think that rules belt slippage plus you have a stage2 belt so i'm leaning strongly towards bypass valve

is the squeelin suppose to occur at idol,or while driving the car when the revs go higher...it does squeel when u turn the car on after it has cooled down,but once it warms up its perfectly quiet

no thats to far for me when i have to be up at 5:45 am and it should start squeeling when you really get on it and plug the hose of that goes from the manifold to the soleniod and then plug off the soleniod nipple that is now exposed.

should you disconnect the neg battery terminal when installing the smaller pulley? i am getting about 16psi with my 2.9 pulley, on my gm stage 2, stock plugs. i did feel a difference after i installed the smaller puller but should i disconnect the battery to reset the pcm? or does it not matter

I have to agree with you. Spark plugs have nothing to do with how much you will boost. It has to be something with the install. Inspect every aspect of the install. Also check the pulley grooves. Is it tensioned all the way? Pull on the belt with your hand and make sure its tight. Don't know what else could be the problem.
