So when you turn the car to the "ON" position before you start it, the gauge doesn't zero out? If the gauge doesn't zero out then it is messed up.

My gauge did the same thing, read about 10 or so lbs of boost but it was just that the guage got messed up some how. I knew it was messed up becasue when I turned the key to "ON" before I stated it and all the guages would zero, the boost guage was showing -5. Once the dealership installed the new gauge it was showing boost correctly again.

The gauge should be under warnity. You may want to put the stage II pulley back on though haha

BTW, now that you know what it is. What do you think about the 2.9 pulley from Nate? If I were to get the same size gm stage II pulley but would be one of Nate's would the weight differance do anything? You would think if the blower could spin the pulley easier with a less weight pulley it would help out. I guess I'll wait until I get dual pass, and a H/E then get a 2.9 pulley and dyno tune.

I wouldnt worry about putting the 3" pulley back on. They should look at that for a boost gauge. I hope. If you want to be cautious about it do it. its easy. But when there is something wrong with my car engine or blower wise. I dont take my 2.8" off..

But glad you figured out what the problem was!

i didnt really figure it out...i decided to go run a gto that i lost to before i got the 2.9...and i beat it,so which means i did gain power and boost, but the gauge kept reading 10psi..and no way in hell a cobalt with 10psi will take a gto..and video will be posted up soon of that race...hahahaha

Yeah the bolts suppose to fit someone said they are a little smaller but Nates pulleys work inconjuction with gms stage 2 pully hub
