need advice on getting CKV learn done right

Ok, I have been installing an intense stage III kit. I got the PCM from them and have installed the plugs, injectors, harness, and PCM. I have not done the pulley yet since I am not at home I am working in a hotel parking lot. I went and used a scanner today to do the CKV learn and it would not complete the test, I went to shop with a brand new motis system from Snap-on and had the same problem. Does anyone have detailed steps for this or is it because I have not installed the 2.9 pulley. I am waiting for intense to call me back right now but I need help quickly I am heading back to NC friday and want everything good to go before I leave.

well, I do them at work all the time...but I work at a gm dealership, so I use a tech 2.

Have to apply parking brake,
turn off a/c (fans)
apply brake pedal and start car.
car has to reach minimun oporating temperature
then rev car until fuel cut....should work.

think the fuel cut off is the problem, I am running an intense stage 3 tune but had not installed the 2.9 pulley. Didn't think that would make a difference since at idle there is not boost. What should fule cut-off be for a tune with rev limiter at 7k? And how long should I hold it.

tried that, when it said start went WOT to rev limiter and brought it back down then it just sat there. Not sure of the company scanner I was using but the software was new and the same as the Snap-on motis software. If I can't get it fixed here think it is save to drive from lower AL back to Fayetteville, NC? And if I do this I may have to come see you in Charlotte if you promise not to turn me into the warranty police.

pm me a price. I was going to wait until AZ to do it with Psykostevo but if can get down there I might just try. Only get about 25 days with the family so will have to work it around that.
