need build advice!!

hey guys i havent been around on the forums for awhile now because im going to college and it sucks to not have any money to put into my car but i came into some money now and im looking for advice on where to go with my build next.

i have about 5,000 to work with here and so far a turbo kit is looking like that way to go suggestions on what kit to go with or on alternative builds other than turbo is greatly appreciated.

also whats the news on the tvs swaps? cost? power? worth it at all?

thanks for all the support guys!

ok here we go... zzp twincharge and a custom tune and u will be a 1 off kina person with the wine throughout the powerband and the psssshhh at the end ... turbo + sc= Barley anyone ... and amazing lol... if i had the moeny i would do it but... i dont .

If not ide go turbo over tvs... unless u wana stay blown its easier to make more power outa a turbo car. HAHN V( 5) is an amazing kit from what ive heard and there is 1 for sale right now and tvs's for sale right now all over the .net Good lukc with modding just puting my 2 cents in saying ide be the one and the few to do a twin charged set up... zzp.com

  • Decide what your power level goals are
  • Look at the options to achieve that goal
  • Consider all supporting options needed to maintain that goal
  • Chose the option that allows you to do the complete build instead of doing a half assed job and breaking stuff

Could go back and do it all again. I would probably first go for some diamond pistons. Do headwork w/ PnP and springs. That wold all be about 2k depending on labour costs. Then I would spend 2k on the TVS and 1k on a nice nitrous setup with all the extras.

With the headwork and TVS you could see near 350whp. With the pistons I would feel safe spraying a 150 on top of that and in the end you could have 450+ reliable whp for around 5k.
