Rico, you checked all of your fuses right?

That said, the guru's are polling for a fried ECU, so that could be it.

This sounds like the mistake I made last time I changed my clutch.

Put back one fuse in the wrong spot (leaving a real fuse spot empty, can't remember which one), and I had the exact same problems.

Write a tune with the VATS turned off (since you think the computer is bad, not really risking anything), then try jumping the starter with the key in the run position.

Mine would start like that.

If yours does you probably have either a fuse or a wiring problem.

Doesn't hurt to try, right?

System heading, general tab, change the drop down on the VATS to disable.

i would say ECU thats what they replaced on my car when my fan would stay on and wouldnt crank......after i put that piggyback chip on it. they really couldnt figure it out, so they called me and were going to replace the ECU. they did that and i was driving it the next day...i have no clue on how to tell if its fried or not. maybe take it to the dealer and ask them if they can run a test to see if its fried or not?but im most certain its the ECU

I still believe the theft module could be the culprit. when i had my 06 LS the module shorted and the car wouldnt start. the passlock light wasnt lit and anytime i tried to start the car the DIC would go nuts. bridged the starter and it would start, but die seconds after.
