Need help/ advice!
I have 2006ss s.c mods are full exhaust 2.8 pulleys intake clutch flywheel short throw heatexchanger stage 3 snowperformance water meth. I orderd hp tuners pro and a zex nitrous kit.I really want the harrop tvs blower now and cams w. Valve springs. Need advice on what the best set up I can go with is???? Or if there is anything better I can do/ buy!
nitrous and tvs bigg no no unless your built, you can do the m62 and 2.8 with nitrous but it is unsafe, most id do would be a 25 shot even with meth. wut i would do is keep the m62 nitrous and ect, tune for it and if you dont like it upgrad the s.c with the tvs and see how tht goes, if it goes okish and you want more consider the nitrous but do a build.

So the tvs blower wouldn't be worth it unless I was built? Have any other input? Or should I just keep the stock s.c on there tune it and hook up the bottle. Im not to worried about the safety aspect of it.worst that till happen is grenade and ill have to build it!!
do the m62 setup,with nitrous. Do you have a progressive controller for the nitrous or no. If not Do you plan on it. And this as well what are plans on using it, when, how often, and whatcha gonna do about tuning, do you know how, and you need to see your iat2s with meth first before you tune for the nitrous. Id keep your afrs in the low 11s with nitrous even with meth since it runs hot
I really only plan on using it on a dyno/track/ or when I no im going to need it. Im just not gonna hit for ***** and giggles lol. Tune wise I orderd hp tuners pro but I plan on going sumwhere to have it lookd at aswell after im done. I no kids blasting a 75 shot on stock motors so idk ...
or on a stock motor with 2.8 m62, trust me on this.....Be smart if you dont care about your engine do wut you want, I mean ive been tuning for quite some time sow so i know what im talking about. If you want it tuned drive down here to ky, and ill tune you for 100$ if you use your own hptuners. Ihad a few guys drive from pittsburg to me so its all up to you or you can datalog and we can do it that way. Who knows. but you cant push 75 shot for long
turbo it. Or tvs it, get a flow through option b(doubles as an ice box), dual pass. That meth from what i read destroys the tvs over time, so iw ouldnt use that.. the flow through option b should be more than enough and you can pack it with ice before you race.

My buddie is pretty good he has 530 hp Evo but dgr is good at tuning and decently close for me. What is most hp u think I can get w. All the mods I said w. Nitrous.and a great tune.minus the tvs and cams
depends on your tuner lol. A person who can tune a evo is not the same as a person using hp tuners to tune a cobalt,not same software it is different. diff tables to use, and ect. So i hope your buddy knows hptuners and how the car works... What i would use is a m62, with the 2.8 meth and nitrous but a progresive kit but alow you to turn it onwhen you want after a certain rpm and boost so you can get the best possbile tune. run a mixture meth of 50/50 for best cooling and good timing with nitrous

yeah hes doing the tuning thats why im stating this, and the other issue is the driver. cAN SOMONE TUNE FOR A TVS and nitrous of course, but how long will it last. Aparantly this guys dont care if he blows the engine, but someone like me wont unless its my own car or the customer knows hes a idiot for doing this. Im not saying it cant happen its just not smart. anything can be done
M62 with a 100 shot on a 2.8 pulley, full exhaust, good heat management, stock internals, intake and a solid on the bottle tune you could see 350whp/360ft.lbs.
Not that I have any experience with this stuff...
