need help fast

im working on a ss sc at work and i cant get the stock pulley off. i need help asap because im leaving soon.im using a pulley removal tool but its not working to well. and i cant search to much because of work websence

any help plz?

is the blower off the car? it is a long drawn out process with the puller.

what me and my buddy did is use a screwdriver and push the pullies down to release slack on the pulley it self..that should make it come off but its hard as hell and hurts if u let go!

well taking the supercharger off really isn't that hard is it? the pulley is the biggest PITA right?

its not hard it is just alot of steps. I did have the supercharger off the car. frank parra didnt have the tool j-38416-1 i think which is the proper tool to remove the pulley. we had a pulley remover, but the end was circled just as big as the sc snout (the center piece) so we put a socket on the end of the tool and it was stripping out the socket. so i said **** it and told my friend i wasnt doing it and put it all back together

The easiest way to get the pulley off is with a press. Other wise it is a real bitch. I don't think there is anyway you could ever get the stock pulley off the SC without removing it first.

s/c off goto pep boys and rent the tool for like 10$.... i had great help (chevysalesman) edit- he did it. i learned watched. lol.... we took off s.c and then took it to pepboys and used his buddies air gun... and used the tool and just popped it off... then gotta a rubber mallot and slammed the zzp hub on with some grease and elbow grease lol... good luck!!
