Need Help with a friends LSJ!!!
ok so he got an interceptor from ZZP, now when ever he plugs it in, it wacks his car out, like if he turns the key to on on position and tries to start it the car wont start, then it faults a bunch of things like power steering, low coolant, and the ABS light flashes and it freaks out, anyone know what could be causing the problem???
i had dual interceptors in my old LSJ and never had any problems so this is weird to me

I have never heard of these issues, but what I'd do for the first step is disconnect the interceptor completely and see if the car starts up fine then. if it does, try running the wiring to another power source. I made my own ground when I installed mine, I drilled a hole in my painted frame where the A pillar covers
Good luck!
Good luck!
There have been a lot of these posts lately. I never had any issues with mine (lsj also) and I hooked it up through the stock boost gauge wires. Hopefully someone can figure this out, I have to send mine back for warranty because the screen goes all blue and I don't want these issues with the new one.

wow really? haha contact aeroforce. they have FANTASTIC!!!!1111 customer service. My wiring that came with my interceptor was messed up and they just simply asked me when I ordered it, didn't ask for an order number or anything, they just shipped it right then and there

haha idk my other buddy ordered there S252 kit and some other goodies, spent like $5500 with them and they ignored him and never returned his emails or calls, he needed help installing something, they blew him off
The jumper is the red thing on the back of the gauge, just pulls off. Aeroforce had responded to my email within 30 minutes and just told me to send it back and they will get me a new one within 4 days of them recieving it. ZZP is hit or miss with there cust. service but there parts are great so were kinda stuck in the middle.
On the back of the gauge there are 2 prongs with a red jumper on it when you get it. When you are hooking it up to a 12v source you have to take the jumper off otherwise the gauge doesn't come on when you turn the key on. But that shouldn't cause the issues your friend is having. Something seems screwed up with the gauge.
Haha I hear ya. Maybe shoot Tim an email? Anything problems with things I bought from them Tim has always done what he has to to make it right.

so i completely rewired the gauge and it only does it when it is plugged into the OBD2, if i unplug it the car doesnt fault but as soon as i plug it in and it turns on the car faults
i have heard of this issue, they are around here somewhere, if i remember some people fixed it by using a different switched source, tap a 12V from the fuse box inside the car and see if that helps instead of using the stock boost gauge
