pull your oil drain plug and see if you have coolant in your oil

Id also pressure test it you can rent a pressure tester from autozone for free but definitely make sure there is no coolant in that oil i had the exact same symptoms and it ended up being a cracked block and warped head.

only way i can think of is if your getting coolant in your cylinder and its burning off (explains the white smoke) and the excess is which are probably very trace amounts are somehow getting into your manifold when the valve opens.

i did a compression test however it did not yield any results it may or may not for you but when i pulled the oil drain plug pretty much pure coolant poured out and that's when i knew.Is your car ticking?

Im not sure what the hole is and perhaps this can give you the reasoning behind the filter http://www.machinerylubrication.com/...?articleid=398 but im almost 100% sure there is a crack somewhere in your engine and your coolant is mixing with the oil thinning it out causing the tick. this is very bad for your head and may lead to head problems like mine did. Are you still under warranty?

have you ever had your endplate off? those o rings on the laminova cores and the endplate seal should be replaced when you take it off. they can stretch and not provide a proper seal and that cpuld explain why you have coolant in your intake mani and in your intake ports. this happened to me actually. just a thought. i hope everythign works out for ya

the port you are referring to is the PCV opening to the intake, see the thread
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/alert%2A%2Adipstick-popping-out-here-solution-39770/

also the endplate orings have gotten me before as well.

build time in either case...think of this as a welcome opertunity

It's offically blown most likely. If you got coolant in your head where you can see the valves once you take off the intake manifold. You might of brke a valve or something. Most likely it's blown though thats not good to see just in the pictures. rebuild time or new motor.

Where did you put the dye in? Just in the engine coolant or the SC intercooler system?

If you put dye in the SC coolant system then there should be dye inside the intake manifold by the endplate.
