need help with shift light install
I bought a Stewart Warner shift light. I got the power and ground hooked up just fine. The problem I am having is with the green wire that needs to be connected to the coil negative. I hooked it up to the brown and white wire that was suggested in the other thread, it worked but the rpm's didn't match. Also, it requires that the PPR (pulses per revolutions) need to be set. Does anyone have any idea what the PPR for a Cobalt SS-SC would be? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
there isnt one since your car is coil over plug. we run a distributorless ignition system. the only way the light will work is if it has a one cylinder setting since each plug is its own seperate entity. if you have nemore questions send me a pm i will be more than willing to help u.
The ppr needs to be set at .5 If you have part# 114906 you will have to send it back. You need part # 114926 because the first one only goes to .1. The second part # witch is more expensive goes to .5. There is a other Sterwart warner gauges that go to .5 I just don't know there part #. I do know that the 114926 goes to .5 because thats the one I have.

If your tac doens't have a single cylinder setting your going to need a tach adapter.
