im trying to removed the stock transaxle on the passenger side..... but wont come out

did u remove the 2 or 3 bolts that hold the bracket on? from the trans, follow the axle to the right and you will see an aluminum piece that it goes through, well it doesn't go through it, it is a bracket, remove the bolts and it should slide out, if not than wiggle, pry lightly, tap lightly with a hammer, do what you got to do. mine almost fell right out!

 

i did that part.... how do i get the trans axle out of the shaft though thats where im stuck

 

do you mean the stock axle? a transaxle is a front wheel drive transmission...so your post is extremely confusing.

ya you gotta hit it with a rubber hammer and just work it out. you did pull it out of the hub first right?

 

yeahi just dropped the top nuckle from the strut.. and then i ripped the axle off and got the piece that goes into the center shaft

do i take the center shaft out?
