Question Need some help plz.

Just a quick question, what all would I have to do if I just took my air box out, and put k&n universal cone air filter on, would I have to do anything before I take that out because theres a sensor up in that box and before I unplug it and take it out I wanna make sure Ill be ok doing this. And the only reason why I am doing this is because if I put a CAI on chevy says it will voided out my internals warranty for the motor so I figured Id just do it this way... anyone know please and thank you.

i am running an injen myself. but if you have any worries at all i would go ahead with the airbox mod you were thinking of. i got the injen because i wanted the nice look in the engine bay, pretty much everyone says that the airbox mod will get you the same horsepower gains and increase in supercharger whine noise.
