Need some quick answers plz

I recently bought a 2006 cobalt ss/sc that already has gm stage 2 kit on it. I work with this guy that is a big ford/mustang guy basically anything that's not v8 is rice to him. I've had a ls I modded for awhile till I traded it in for the ss/sc and have read quite a bit about the ss/sc to. He say stock it at about 180whp and I've told him gm underated it and he dosn't believe it lol. Just wondering what a stock cobalt ss/sc is at about and with stage 2 where should it be? I've raced new gti's, wrx, srt-4, z28, mazda 6 speed all sorts of cars from rolls and most of the time I have a couple people in my car, so I have to be over 200whp he thinks im at with stage 2, just wanna be able to show him this thrad. Going to get dyno soon, thx

stock ss/sc: 200-220whp - depending on dyno (avg. is usually 210whp)
stage 2 ss/sc: 230-245whp - depending on dyno (avg. is usually 235whp)

stock ss/tc: 235-250whp - depending on dyno (but has great torque: 245-255wtq)

yes its a very good race for a stock ss/tc. some would call it a "drivers race". the ss/sc should have came stage 2 from the factory. if it did, it would have done much better in its day.

I have a stock 06 S/C no stage, just with an intake. I raced a V8 Camaro (Probably '94ish body style) He had at least exhaust and I held right with him no problem! Stage 2 should beat him!

All 2.0's require premium fuel. You can run lower grade...but it's not going to get you the performance the car was designed for

running 87 in the 2.0 should be a last resort option and if you do put that in stay out of boost as it knocks really hard and can severly damage your engine

HAHA kinda reminds me of this mustang guy at the track i raced. I beat him once ('94 stang btw) and he started talking to me in the staging lanes......

him: that thing stock?
me: minus intake it us
him: o thats cool..... wanna run again? i think i can get ya
me: sure

well i ended up running the best time i ever ran on that run, 14.2@99, and he barely hit a 14. I had a slight giggle when he left the track afterword
