So with the big TVS group buy over what is the latest in terms of actual performance. Is there a tune available to go along with the blower upgrade and what have you new TVS owners been experiencin? Was it worth the 2 grand? Anyone one from the group buy over 300 whp?

 

A lot of them are still working on paying it off via the plan i believe, and a lot of others are working on building up their supporting mods before they start going wild. The new blower is not something to take lightly.

 

^^^^yup. it was more like a sign up for a payment plan group buy. it was like a $300 or $400 downpayment. and now they're working on paying it off. and those who do have it are waiting for other things to come. i think maybe one person bought it outright

 

no, more like almost 10 bought it outright, and there were a couple that weren't even on the list.

 

im one of the guys that is paying it off. I would have had it paid off by now and installed but i decided to buy a motorbike.

 

I payed it off right away one big payment just waiting on the next shippment now so i can test it and push it.

 

i will have it along with everything i need by july/august. i'm confident 300whp wont be a problem

 

I know one guys tune date is Tuesday. We'll see what he makes....

290 whp on a mustang dyno w/ the big ass pulley and conservative tune, but my car seems to be a factory turd or something. On the m62 and 2.6" I only made 254 whp IDK we'll find out when I get into my head work.

anyone with the tvs i have a question when you install it what do you do to get your tune from ottp? Like do they send in a basic tune then you data log your car with the hpt and send them the log and they send you out another tune?

 

they will send you the tune via email if you got hptuners i beleive, then you load it into your car. if you dont have hptuners they will send you a canned tune.

I wasn't on the list and paid mine outright, trying to work out some issues with my TVS+Ported Head.. I did a rebuild on Piston #4 and I have a horrid idle and no power at WOT.. Cruise is okay.. We're thinking maybe timing is slightly off so I'm going to be trying to figure that out

virutally untuned(threw fuel at it, and pulled timing til i had time to get a real tune) i threw it up on the dyno and pulled 298hp/277tq with the 80mm pully
