need to vent crank case pressure !!
What's up guys. Last year when i went 12.1 I noticed on one run the dipstick came up a little bit. I'm getting ready to put the car on e85 and a 2.6 and before i do that I'd like to do a breather setup to relieve some crank case pressure. I'm going to do a catch can but seen a lot of turbo lsjs with the cap vented and such. I did a quick search but didn't come up with much. Any ideas or links to buy these parts from? Thanks in advance I would like to do this before running 11s on the 25th

You could use one of these:
Valve Cover Adapter, AN Valve Cover Adapters: Metco Motorsports
Screws in where your oil cap goes. Attach a line to it and T it into the crankcase recirc line found on the back of the engine. After that is in place you should add a catch can into the mix to keep things clean.
FYI a breather filter will just get oil soaked after a while, but its not bad as a temp solution.

Exhaust EVAC, have it on my car and it works great. Despite what people say about it not working, the hose would suction to my hand just at idle.
Plus crankcase vaccuum nets a bit more power.
Just a thought.

i did notice that when I switch from vented to air to having it tied into my catch can system that it did make my idle better, but I had attributed that to the fact that having the filter on it gave me a huge vac leak and If I closed off my catch can to vac port line that my idle got better as well.
I have my cap vented with a K&N mini filter on it. It's been like that for about a year now, haven't had to clean the filter since it's still pink and no more dipstick popping out.
be very careful hooking the crankcase to full time vacuum, the oil fog is easily sucked out which hurts internal lubrication and will drain the crankcase fairly quickly. had a friend with a civic who ran a vac line from his valve cover to behind the tb, he was going through a half quart of oil a day and eventually span a bearing.

I seem to go through less oil with the valve cover port and the oil cap port going to constant vac than I did with a filter in one. There seems to be the same amount in my catch can but much less disappears though other places.

But I want to run it in the extra O2 bung installed in my ZZP cat-d dp.
It would be the bung after the cat.

Do you think i would be able to produce enough vacuum to pull the valve cover gases out without using the weld in fitting?

I have one of ^^^ but have been looking into this idea.
