Does anyone have a different air filter on their ZZP intake? I am looking fo a smaller filter so I can find a pre-filter/hydro shield since the K&N provided is huge and they don't make one for it. If you have a link to a filter and it's pre-filter that would be good too....thanks!!

just go order one... all you gotta do is make sure its a 3" inlet

 

I'm trying to find one that has a pre-filter. I can find 3" inlet filters anywhere but only see the Injen filters with the hydro shield and they aren't a 3" inlet.

 

so then go buy a hydro shield

or go turbo, then your filter is mounted in the engine bay and you don't have to worry about it

 

This filter is like 2 times the size of the injen and the pre filter wont fit. I'll just call K&N tonight and see what they offer. I will be turbo as soon as I get the $ for a kit but for now I don't want a hydro locked garage queen.

 

I found a drycharger that fits the ZZP intake K&N Filter.

It's not the exact fit, but it fits very well. I'll see if I can dig up the PN for it.

 

Cool, I'm gunna call K&N tomorrow to see what they say. Just didn't have the time today to do it.

 

I had emailed them, they don't have any Drychargers that are a perfect fit, or designed for that air filter, but after measuring it out, and looking through their stuff online, I did find one that worked. Still havnt found that PN though yet sorry.

 

Ok I found the PN for the K&N filter that comes with the ZZP Intake E-0774 I looked up the dimentions of the filter at K&N's web site. It's 7.25" Tall, and 5.8?" in diameter.
Drycharger PN E-4710DK is 7 9/16" tall by 6 3/16" in diamater. It's a loose fit, but it works for me.

Thanks, that's the one I saw but never got a chance to call them and see if it actually fit. Bigger is better than too small. Time to find it cheaper online and order it!!
