I have the stock alternator...which i think ids 75 amps. I wanted to buy a new amp that would push around 1000 watts. But they say that you have to upgrade your alternator to like a 200 amp alternator. Has anybody isntalled a sound system that exceeds 1000 watt amp...and had to change there alternator?

 

stock alt on the 2.0 is 105 amp... and i do have a second alt but my system is sorta extreme
