It is fast as hell! 300Hp 300trq Twin Turbo , So far I have beatin everyone i work(350z*, Mustang GT*, GTI, STI*, Dodge 2500 Turbo Diesel, SC430,SI* and a few others.. )with in 335i and the ones with * in both cars. Last week I beat this kid leaving highschool by my house with an Evo VIII with the 335i by two car lengths, I wanted to get his number to Race the Cobalt against him. I got 20s put on a week ago, so it slowed it down a touch

Okay first a few points
1) Stage 2 + 2.8 pulley is going to require a custom tune and/or 60lb injectors. This is a great start for a very fast cobalt. Many guys have dipped into the mid 13's (quarter mile) with just this setup.
2) If you plan on going twincharged (aka turbo+super) then don't waste your money on pulleys and tunes and whatnot, because the twincharge kit will need its own tune and will actually use a pulley much bigger than stock.
3) Get the ingalls torque dampener ASAP regardless of what you do.
Since you have access to the funds, but lack the know-how, i would strongly recommend you buy one of the many "stage kits" from vendors such as Intense, Cobalt-Addiction, etc. That way you get everything you need and as long as a half decent mechanic installs it your golden.
The GM stage kits are great and all, but they are only great for people who want to maintain warranty. If you don't give a rip about warranty, then go for an aftermarket stage kit. ( i beleive there is a stage 6 available now that is around 300 whp)
