by the way nothing will void warranty unless it causes the failure of something. (magsun moss warranty act)

look it up, u can do any mod and it is not legal for gm to void ur warranty unless that mod caused the damage

u can do what ever u want and a exhst will never hurt anything so u can pick any exhst u want and u wont void anything,

Get a 2.5" exhaust. Magnaflow or Corsa. Ark is a good choice too (pretty loud though and the tip is huge and angled)

u dont have to replace it ever, it wont hurt or effect anything with your car, a cat-back is the safest thing u can do to a car, the only time they will care is only if ur down pipe or cat takes a **** ,then they will do a flow test to test for restriction and find out that your cat back is more free flowing than stock so u will be safe the only time u must worry is when ur exhst is not free flowing over stock

magnaflow is deep

magnaflow is also very free flowing i believe they show gain of 7hp on there 2.25 on a stock cobalt ss/sc so 2.5 will show even more and will also help out ur intake

there are two different exhausts for ark the dt-s and then there is the angled tip i forgot the name the angled tip is loud and obnoxious and the dt-s is straight tip free flowing sounds great... I used to have the corsa exhaust was an amazing exhaust just needed money at the time, this time around im going for the dt-s ark exhaust which is 2.5 straight through

the stock piping tapers off to 2.25 after the axle where as you could just cut that and get piping for 2.5 to mate up to the rest of the exhaust... The Gmpp is a good exhaust for a stock car or even a stage 2 car... But thats it,

So, what your saying is i can run nitrous express and it's not going to void warranty unless i blow the mother 7*^%( up? I know a few dealers are complete co(k suckers and have even heard on here about dealers voiding warrantys because of aftermarket wheels

gmpp kit

i got the gmpp sport kit yes it seems a little smaller but flows alot more i read one thread were a guy went to the dyno before and after he picked up 12 hp and 10 lbs of torque thats also what gm said it would do as for size i would stay with 2 1/4 for clearnce issues even with the stock size the gas tank is to close if you look you will notis the brake lines are plastic and are very close to the stock crap also i think any bigger you could melt the brake line and the gas tank all the kits ive seen dont have the heat shile weled to them like the stock crap does in those close areas plus the gm kit wont void your warrenty the bigger kits could because they ara so close to the brake line and gas tank the gm kit souns really great oh the hp and torque is at the wheels if i missed spelled anything my bad very long day at work i hope this helps

FYI the gmpp exhaust is made by Borla. I have the Vibrant header/downpipe combo with the GMPP sport and it sounds and feels good. I had the GMPP manifold, zzp downpipe with the gmpp sport but the new set up is much better.
