new here, i have a big question

I have an 06 cobalt SS/SC. I want to make 300whp. I came here for some advice. What do I need to do achieve my goal. I have looked at cobaltaddiction and a few other sites. I wanted to get some opinions from other cobalt SS/SC owners. Yes, your opinions and advice matter to me . Please give me some ideas. Thanks guy and gals!

just give a quick summation of parts and upgrades i will need. I am gathering as much intell as I can before i start on my project.

How much power are members here making? Anyone have Dyno Charts? I am just really wanting to do my homework on my build.

Alot of those parts will do it, but you will blow your motor after a while if not tuned properly. Even if tuned properly you will still blow your motor after a while. The best bet would be to wait for the HAHN turbo kit to come out late this summer, and then you could make 300HP plus reliably. You will need supporing mods though, like stage 2 axles and other traction mods.

Twin screw, you damn sure aint going to do it in a reliable way using the eaton, if you spray it yea.

2.5, 60s, cai, full catless exhaust, meth, dualpass, h/e, crazy tune on race gas, ported blower, clutch, axles, mounts.

2.8, 75shot, full exhaust, 60s, cai, tune

Reblauto twin screw swap

Do some work and search around, small pulleys are known to be trouble in some cases, overspining the blowers and causing way to much heat and killing # 4.

I heard that our problem with the #4 is from the poorly designed intake manifold flowing too much air to the #4 when you are running too small of a pulley. This at least is what Bill Hahn thinks it is, and it does make alot of sence to me anyway. You could be right about the heat having a little to do with it, but we all know what happens when one cylinder runs to lean under a hight engine load. The motor goes POP!!!!

Id say stg 2, 2.8 pulley, full exhaust and intake, spray a 60 shot, that should do it. Thats the easy way at least.

Bolt on our Twin Screw kit is my vote. Your going to need a clutch within the first few weeks of it. But your have over 300whp. Other suggested mods are an intake and some sort of exhaust of your choice.
