New Injen CAI

Where can I get the new INjen CAI which was modified supposibly by the manufacturer to be less of a burden when installing it on a 2006 cobalt ss/sc ? If this updated product is not available what else do you guys reccomend K&N typhoon ??? I would go AEM but 169 bux for a filter is a complete rip off.. I would definetly buy it for like 80 bux

Injen should have fixed them by now, I remember reading about that a monbth or 2 ago and how they stopped producing them for 2 weeks so they could fix and start producing new ones. If that is true or not I don't know. I get mine this week I'll let ya know.

$169 bux and no fitment problems may be well worth it If I had to get one today it would be the AEM.

My friend bought the Injen and had horrible fitment issues. He contacted them and he's getting a new intake that should fit. I think they should've solved the fitment issues by now.

AEM is a RIP OFF! You are better off just replacing the filter.

We have a new batch of intakes in stock; It took a while to get these, so we assume they did a change on these.

I orderd mine about 1 1/2 -2 months ago from you guys (TTR). Its in the box behind me, I'm going to see if i have any fitment issues when install time comes. If so, do i go through you guys (TTR) or Injen themselves for a replacement? My intake (injen) also has a nasty oil/dirt film on the entire inside of the tube when i was checking it out. Seeing i cant clean the entire tube out, should i just attempt to get a new one?
