ZZP Dezod and TTR have ALL made their own parts.

some vendors have great reputations. and some are ****.
and its a direct reflection of their product quality, and customer service.

End of story.

A) JBP's roller followers are cheaper than Jesel's.
B) Titanium components are not being used in this area on all-out race cars, in fact, most racers recommend sodium-filled exhaust valves over titanium exhaust valves due to reliability issues with heat cycling and titanium.
C) Multiple other sites have the GMPP adjustable cam gear set for less than even CED.

X2

If you want to know what to expect from a particular vendor, search up on peoples experiences with them on here. If you still want to buy some of their product, pm members that have had experiences, and they will tell you straight up. THe smart ones don't bash out in plain sight, although it sucks that vendors get away with scamming people and no one can touch them just because they pay the site proprietors...

You can call their dealers and place orders if you know what you want.

You never actually get to talk to or deal with anyone at the actual vendor though. Even if you call them directly, you will never get ahold of anyone.

It would be nice to actually have some realistic new aftermarket parts that actually do something, besdies CAD drawn fakeness.

Based on experience I would say no, but apparently some people love their cams, so you may want to ask around for other opinions.

As an FYI... I'm pretty sure they use Autodesk Inventor.... worth a few grand and very accurate, unlike Google Sketchup.

considering its only a 700 dollar program. you're really not that far off.

lol..

its only a few grand when you own a company and have to buy multiple ports. i just bought 08 for my computer. and have been running 06 nd 04 for the last 4 years.. close but no cigar.

if you would like i can post screen shots of my most recent projects to prove im not bullshiting you.

Your talking about the personal edition.
Pro is over $7000 for the basic license. I have the requisition sitting 6 feet from me.

BTW, it's illegal to use a personal edition for profit.

Educational is far cheaper, same as personal.

A companies cost?

Just an example of a retailer that actually lists their price.
Additional seats can run you anywhere from $150-$400 after the initial purchase.

SED (where I work) is on a subscription, so our annual rate is a bit cheaper.

Also, if your buying the 'Series', and not the Pro... it's about $2k less.

yeah but it does not look as cool now does it?

BTW, autodesk 04 sucks, i use it everyday. we are not just moving over to the new autodesk series. i also use inventor everyday. and it is very accurate if used right.
