well now you guys answer me this.
How bad can it be for the car or the engine to have the exhaust leak for more than a week. Say two weeks.

I don't think it will hurt the car especially because it's leaking after the cat.

Right now Im just going to leave the leak there and wait for my new exhaust to arrive which I will tell you guys how it went.
Hope that helped WOPONTour. Just dont take it so aggresively next time man. lol Take it easy man!!!!!!
Thanks for the clarifications Ljavy17! That's more like it!! I realize that when things go wrong with an aftermarket installation it's frustrating. But such is cars. If you're going to work on and around cars for any length of time, you'll have to lean how to deal with these frustrations (or you'll find yourself in an early grave)

Looks like what you had reported as poor customer service was maybe not-so-bad after all. I realize you're still out some money, through no fault of your own- but that's the way it will ALWAYS be if you choose to pay someone else to install your gear instead of doing it yourself. You will learn to either try to do more things yourself , or accept such losses.

What I am really trying to expose here is how easy it is to give some vendor or product an undeserverving rep, just from a knee-jerk, peed-off, why is this happening to be, bitch post. Not saying you shouldnt report what you experienced, but you really gotta be accurate, providing as much detail as you can. But most of all you gotta be truthful so that others can properly and fairly analyze your feedback, in order to make their OWN decisions about what products to purchase for their ride.

Thanks again for clarifying the situation and trust me I ALWAYS take it easy, and didnt mean to come across as being aggresive or combative. With some conflicting details in your posts, I was merely looking for some clarification from you to make sure I could understand what really transpired is all. Good luck on getting it fixed up to your satisfaction. Just make sure the leaks you're driving around with won't heat anything combustible like a fuel line, brake cable, or your floor carpet!!

Regards
