New PB with my twincharge setup
New PB with my twincharge setup
Matt and I planned on racing at our local track, US131, on Saturday Oct. 31 but the track cancelled Friday night because of the rain. No surprise, another race day cancelled here in Michigan. It gets really old. Matt and I decided to make the 2.5 hour trip to Milan. Quite the drive but the Sunday forecast looked great. I guess that’s what you do when you are racing addicts. There wasn’t that many people at the track to my surprise considering the weather was so nice. The track was decent but I was still traction limited, definitely going to be a focus for me in the off season. I made 4 or 5 runs that day and the best pass was an 11.24 @ 131.99. Matt and I are trying to go back to Milan on Saturday Nov. 7 if anyone in the area is interested in meeting us there. It would be nice to meet some of you and have more Cobalts out there racing. Hit me up with a pm if you are going.

I honestly can't see a turbo only LNF beating out a twincharged LSJ. I think the LNF would need nitrous to help it out of the hole.
It's just too different to compare, not fair really, 2 power adders to one.

Getting off the line is no problem with the LNF. It will do 1.6 sixty foots if the traction is there. Ryan has way too much power in 1st gear to put it to the ground without spinning the tires. He won't have a launching advantage until he finds more traction. The advantage that his car has over my car is that I'm still limited to ~500whp based on the fuel system we have. He can keep turning up the boost and making more power with his setup.

Good job Ryan
