Exclamation New Supercharger Thread!

Ok guys,
Let's talk about wht kind of superchargers they make for those of us who want a lot of WHP, but don't want to explode the stock s/c. Pic and Prices of the superchargers would be nice to see! And then we can pick the winner!

I'm waiting for someone to explore the possibilities of trading out for a centrifugal supercharger. Would make for an interesting swap. A procharged Cobalt, HA...

Doesn't matter. Same motor just higher stroke and different ECU. It would work I'm assuming pretty good.

Sorry, I'm just thinking logistics. I was thinking about using the stock intake manifold for the heat exchanger in conjunction with an intercooler. Did the Procharged Ion use it's stock manifold, the LSJ manifold or a custom one?

EDIT: It's just something that completely change the mounting setup for the S/C...

Funny, I was just thinking about this today. I wonder if we could do it similar to how the guys did the turbo using the supercharger shell instead of having an intake fabricated. You could then mounth the procharger where the nose cone was and route the charge pipe down and back around the the throttle body. The stock intercooler would still be used and then you could run methanol injection on top of that. Plus the stock tune would lend itself more freely to tuning for it since it would still be belt driven boost.
