Angry Newbie: Need help with exhaust!

Hello,

I recently bought a 2006 SS SC. I have mostly had SUVs and I had a very basic civic to which I made no modifications. Not really experienced in engine modifications. The SS I bought has a very loud exhaust. It's very raspy and ricy (which I hate). I have heard someone say it could be a fart can or cherry bomb, but I haven't had the chance to lift it and take a better look. I know the basic differences between the two, but that's about it. Can someone help with possible solutions (barring a full exhaust replacement if possible) I really just want to not look like a ricer douche.

Also, I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this, I've only just registered.

Thank you!

Welcome. Here's a great bang for the buck to your raspy loud exhaust woes. You would need to get it welded in though.
