I didnt mean run cooler as in temperature wise. Im talking about ur valves not being exposed to as much heat as it they would if it ran on gas. Im not trying to argue at all. Ik ur probably the most knowledgeable person on this forum. Just want to make sure i dont seem like a ******* lol

Ok now I don't know for sure I'm allowed to just revive an old thread, but it would be a lot simpler to just do this instead of cluttering the forum with a new one.

Now that I have owned my SS a little longer, I have had the opportunity to tinker and really delve into the motor and mods. I have added my 2.5" Tsudo exhaust, and I have gotten my 3" intake which I have yet to install (along with various little things, lights, tint, etc.). I have also looked into my supercharger and it (unfortunately) is not an H62. But, my M62 is plenty enough. I have thought about my horsepower goals and have come up with this; I'd like to make 280-300 whp if at all possible. That is all i really need/want out this car. With that said, here is my list of soon-to-come mods: Option B, Dual Pass, FMHE, new IC pump, STS, Rotated Trans Mounts, Ingalls Torque Dampener, upgraded LSJ clutch, Long Tube header, catted DP w/ extra O2 bung, AEM Wideband, 2.8" pulley, new belt, new timing kit, AEM High Flow fuel pump, 60# injectors, dual Interceptors, 1 step colder NGK plugs, NGK performance wires, and finally, HPTune.

Now with a good tune, could I reach my HP goals with this setup? And as an fyi, I plan on getting the majority of these parts from OTTP. Any info/opinion would be great

Add a ported head, cams and E85 to the list and 300whp is achievable. Otherwise what you have listed on pump gas will sit you in the 250-260whp area.

Ok thanks man. I appreciate the info. I might have to look into to getting the head done. Cams I could, but I'm not sure about E85. I don't know how readily available it is in my area. And another question. I have a 3 gauge pillar set up in it as of right now. It came this way when I bought it. It has the stock boost gauge, a voltmeter, and an AFR. However, the AFR fluctuates frequently and never stays in the same spot, unless I'm down shifting, in which case it reads lean until I get back on it. I will post a video of it. 1) is this a problem? And 2) if I was to get an AEM Wideband, I would assume this already has the bung and sensor for it, so it should essentially be plug and play?

Your AFR will fluctuate but stabilize when you go wide open throttle. Also going lean on decel is normal. Yes all plug and play.
