Well i ordered a megan catback and the site said it was instock then i got an email today saying it will be 2-3 weeks before they get any.

so I am going to get my money back and spend it else where and maybe get a catback later.

i was wanting about the same gains, what would be something i could do to accomplish this. hp and tq wise.

or should i just spend the 300 on a h/e and mayb dual pass or ingalls or something like that?

just some thoughts guys??

i forgot to mention i have gm stage 2 and aem cai. could i run a smaller pulley? what would expect to see gains from this? i just ordered a small cxracing heat exchanger. so i got like 175 more bucks to work with

Without an upgraded header/dp you may not want to pooch down to a 2.9" pulley...but with the h/e you can run smaller than stage 2 or stage 3 (76mm). You've done everything backwards! Yeah you're not going to increase hp with the h/e; you know what would be good for what you have leftover...the ls4 throttle body and raw spacer you can run that without any problems and you will get gains where in counts (down low->mid) simple install too.

Oh yeah...technically you should have the dual pass before you go with another h/e but it's still going to drop about 10 degrees at the manifold.

None of that stuff can be had for 175 bucks including install if he can't do it himself.
