I know I may be beating a dead horse but I was looking for some guidance on what to do next. I have a 07 SS / SC - I lowered it on springs, changed the wheels, tinted it and moded the air box with the K&N filter leaving the bottom off - with no thrown codes so far. The car runs great and I love it but of course want to make it more powerful.
So where do I put my money next? and the car is paid in full - for you who are going to go there! - I want to do the stage 2 and exhaust / headers - but I am wondering if I should do the damper thing that holds the engine stopping wheel hop. I was thinking that and up grading the breaks and disks.
Help me in the right direction - what direction should I be looking first? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hey man depends what kind of power levels are you looking at making and how much are you looking to spend????
On the other hand in my opinion I would stay away from the torque dampener, and just go ahead and get an aftermarket motor mount, and some tranny mounts. I got a motor mount and the tranny mounts and NO wheel hop at all anymore. Thats just my opinion.

You aren't beating a dead horse you are beating the bones of whats left of a dead horse.
Anyway, you need to ask yourself what your goals for this car are. Are you looking for a certain time at the track or a certain horsepower? Are you willing to sacrifice some of the stock ride quality to get it or do you want to keep the car like it is?
If you answer those question then you can be helped in the best way possible, if not people are just going to be telling you to slap on some parts that may or may not be good for your car or get you where you want efficiently.
As for the torque damper, skip it and get mounts. The damper is a bandaid the mounts are a fix.

right - thought that would be the case - i have searched and read lot on here - i really just want to take it up to the 260 or so it can go - keeping warranty in mind, etc... so motor and tranny mounts - stage 2 , headers, exhaust - and breaks - maybe a new clutch - good to go? Right?
