Nitrous

Ive searched and was finding not much. If there is please point me into right direction

This is for my cobalt lsj

I have 2.8 on a stock m62 blower, exhaust, stock he rerouted to the front and option b( will be doing dual pass), e85

Im wondering my options on a 50 shot to make it more fun

Has anyone have positive feedback on doing this? I know the gm s3 kit has the option of running this

Thanks

what are your questions on it? A 50 shot would be just fine as long as you tune for it

I am running a 50shot on a tvs setup it is worth it t stone is running a 50 shot with m62 on a 2.9 zzp cams and 10.5 compression to the tune of 368hp you could easily run a 75 shot and go over 300hp and hurt feelings cbodnar did 125 shot on a stock engine and did 373hp its cheap reliable hp and you can hurt a lot of feelings with it without hurting your wallet just make sure you pull timing for the amount of shot you hit it with you can also use a progressive controller to help with traction

you really don't need to tune for a 50shot its not that big of a hit I would not have pulled timing but the tuners said other wise

no use a wet kit

on a dry kit the car will run like **** at wot unless your spraying a wet kit you don't change the fuel as much so the car runs way better off spray

These blower cars seem to love a 50 shot.
Makes a huge difference. Nx express claims u don't have to tune for a shot that small. But like mrb sayed it would be way safer the pull some timming out of it

A lot of people have ran a 35 dry shot on a GMS2 setup. 42# injectors and 3.1" pulley untuned. The GM tunes run rich and a small shot won't hurt anything.

The GMS3 pcm is setup for a dry shot. It pulls 6* of timing and adds fuel via the fuel injectors while spraying. The GMS3 tune is way better then the stock and GMS2 tunes.

This thread has a lot of information in it with pictures!

When your baby screams and whines give it the bottle...Nitrous Trifecta GMS3 - Saturn ION RedLine Forums

I run a Trifecta GMS3 PCM which gives me the Nitrous, adjustable Rev Limiter, and 100 octane mode from the GMS3 PCM and the ability to customize the tune using HPTs. Unfortunately, I can not modify the GMS3 specific stuff (I have to rely on Trifecta for that) and Trifecta no longer supports this PCM.

For my GMS3 controls, I am pulling 2* of timing and not adding fuel via the fuel injectors since I am running a wet shot. My firing window is controlled by the PCM and is triggered at > 3750rpms and 100% Throttle.

I am running a wet 35 shot with E85. I don't need to pull 2* of timing but it is the way the PCM is setup from Trifecta and I can't change it. I think I have a version of the tune that doesn't pull timing but using Trifecta's tuning solution is slow and I have not made the time to play with it.

If you are going to run E85, make sure to size your fuel jet approx ~ 30% larger then the calculators recommend.

OP, asks about nitrous, and CSS.net clowns reply with "go turbo"

Going turbo is not the answer for everything power related.

OP, MrB knows his stuff. Also, speak with Tstone, italianjoe1, and ebristol.

All of these guys have experience and will be able to help you.

Next winter, I will be installing my jumper wires and hooking up a nitrous kit on my GMRS3 car. I can't wait.

E85 n20 jets? Can just a regular gas jet work?

Also Im debating on using a wot switch or a window switch
