Nitrous Install WOOT

Hey just wanted to let everyone know my car is down at the local dyno shop getting nitrous installed. I am currently running the mods in my sig, on 22 degrees of timing and we are going to through a 35shot on her. The a/f ratio is on the conservative side still, and I will still be running the methanol injection.

I will post dyno numbers up as soon as I hear back from the shop which probably won't be until later on in the day around 4-5pm central time. I will also try and get some pictures.

Following is what I purchased.
2 10lb dyno tune bottles. 1 with brackets 1 without.
1 automatic nitrous express automatic bottle heater.
1 nitrous pressure gauge on the bottle.
1 full dyno tune nitrous kit with blow down tube, using the 35 shot.
1 fuel lean cut off switch
1 msd window switch
1 throttle pressure switch or something like that
1 purge kit

All of the above will be installed today. I will update this when I get the call that the car is done.

well apparently i am missing some parts, they couldn't finish the install. I am gonna see whats missing, they wrote me out a little list, and I will update the thread. I will get the parts, then get it installed sometime next week, and I will update it from there.

I knew i should have bought the kit new and not used. I hate trusting forum members, damn.

bump, luckily the parts that were missing were minor. Not to big of a deal. I don't know when she can get back into the shop, but it should all be wrapped up by next friday. I will update the thread accordingly.

The shops close by, there were just a few little things. There was a kink in one of the steel braided lines, and we needed a 20 dollar fitting, and we also need a -4an T because I have a fuel pressure gauge. Also, the guys said it would be a safe bet to grab an electrical tps switch, so I am going to do that also.

I figure, by my birthday thursday, or friday, she will be finished. Heres a quick question though.

Should I spray a 35shot or a 50shot.

neither. do a 60 shot like i have. you are gonna **** yourself the first time you spray. it becomes an addiction btw. heat up the bottle a little more, just a little more. lol. seriously though on the juice i pulled a 380whp evo9 and a 360whp srt4 so my car has to making some serious power on the bottle

I will have dyno sheets on my pull with the 35shot, if the shop and you guys think that a 50shot is safe then I very well might do it. On forged pistons would a 75shot be SAFE?

a 100 shot would be safe... if it was progressive or 2 stages that would be best

I am gonna stick with the 35 shot and use it for awhile and then upgrade to a 50shot. I want to see how the 35 does, and get the tuning aspect of nitrous down as well as possible. This kit was really cheap, it was an extremely good deal, except one of the steel braided lines had a kink in it, and the shop says not to use it. So I have to spend 50 bucks on 16 feet of steel braided line, 20bucks for a little adapter, and then I need a tee because I have a fuel pressure gauge so thats like another 20, and then I need the electric tps switch because they won't "jerry rig" (thats what the guy at the shop said) the switch i had under the pedal lol.

The shop I go to has really great guys who know there stuff inside and out, and they will install it for a very good price. They said it'll probably be a couple hundred bucks installed, and I am buying hptuners pro with a BUNCH of tunes and unlocked cars from this guy =D.
