Nitrous spray bar???

He guys i dont know if anyone has this or is worth doing. I have a friend with an evo and he has a nitrous spray bar on his intercooler. He said he doesnt want it anymore and i thought maybe i can use it on the H/E on my car. I am getting an after market H/E thats on my other friends Cobra.

So the question is do u think it will improve super charger temps. i plan to use it on occasions.
Just something i wanted to through up in the air. I am gonna do it prob this weekend anyway. Let me know what u think...

You might freeze the coolant/water.

if he puts water in there then he might frezze it but it would take alot more then that bar to freeze the already hot coolant the spray bar is useful, i would rather through water on it but you cant do that at the track so this would be the next best thing i suppose.. you shouldnt have any issues with anything freezing

yes its not much hotter then that.. but all the fluid is around that temp maybe a little less maybe a little more.. your spraying for only a few seconds it wont freeze.. in order for coolant to freez it have to be like -50 degres and thats not happing not even close.. as far as benefical idk if it will be but cant hurt to try

yeah, i'd convert it to just a CO2 spraybar, cheaper fills and does the same thing on the H/E until you get some in your intake then it sucks.

I was told by someone who had a spraybar on an otherwise stock car, that boost would climb to over 15 psi if it was sprayed for a 10 sec bust, and stay that way for a while. It supposedly made a bunch more torque on the dyno, like 40 or 60lbft down low. I don't remember specifics, this was over 2 years ago.

wont do nearly as much for an air/water intercooler as it does for an air to air intercooler.

im still saying t wont freeze but you deff wont be making the 40 or whatever tq.. thats a dream number there... maybe 1 or 2 but this is cooling the coolant a few degrees.. you will not see 40 tq out of this... mayyyyybe just maybe on an air to air setup.. but your outta luck there

the gains will come from ntrous making its way into the intake not from cooling the intercooler

Very true due to the adiabatic efficiency of the air to water is laughable compared to that of air to air.
