Nitrous+Timing+Methanol
the water is helping cool cyl temps... and since it is not able to be compressed it also raises comp and cyl pressures, resulting in mor hp...
the methenol never makes it to the cyl as a liquid form it is evaporated and is now acting like a alternative to race gas, which you wanna run with nos...

i use less meth
wait wait, let me explain cause i dont know if you mean mix or nozzle...
with the sc i ran 75 meth 25 water @ 6gph @ 5psi...
with turbo i run 95 meth 5 water @ 3gph @ 10psi...
the water is now simply there to keep the flash point of the meth down, so it doesent pre ignite...
the sc was eating all the meth before it would get to the combustion chamber... hence the bigger shot. now 3gph on turbo reacts like a 7 or 8 gph nozzle on a sc set-up
yesterday i was doing 3rd gear 20psi pulls dailing in my upper maf... the iat-1 was 80+ my iat-2 was low low 60's... thats 20 degrees below ambient temps from 3gph
when have you ever seen a s/c set up run cooler iat-2's then iat-1??? turbo=FTW
some tvs guys would kill for 60* IAT-2
