No heat!!!!!!! Helpppppppp
No heat!!!!!!! Helpppppppp
First off - I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong section -
Its January (almost) and the heat just stopped working in my car
- the car is an 05 SS/SC Sunburst Orange and I have only put 35,000 miles on it since freaking 05!!!!!!!!!!!!
The car has had a tranny (second one is on its way I feel it) - two head gaskets - struts -clutch and pressure plate and numerous other warranty repairs since I purchased it, and frankly I have been quite unhappy! The interior has basically fallen apart in the car (sunroof trim ring, little compartment by the drivers left leg broke and wont stay closed, paint wore off most of the door trim... etc etc (I know most everyone has these problems on here)
No I do not think that a blower motor would go in a car driven (not even driven.... BABIED!) for only 35,000 miles. It just doesn't seem plausible, the last car I had to replace a blower motor in was a 1991 Toyota 4 runner with 300,000 miles on the poor thing-
The heat just cut out doesn't seem to be turning the blower motor on when I flip the switch. However for some reason I think that when I put the power on the "1" setting I think that it is producing heat, but it really doesn't feel like it when the car is sitting still...
Has anyone had similar problems? Maybe it is just a relay or the switch itself? ANY insight is greatly appreciated.

not that I can find - and I havent had to add any - you can feel the heat coming through the vents - its just that the blower is not turning on to push the heat out... any ideas? Worst case I can buy a blower motor - but it just seems unlikely that a blower motor has burnt out this quick - IMO
