Usually I hit 60 in 2nd gear at around 5k-5500 rpm. Now I am having trouble hitting 60 at 6k even after speedo lag. I don't know why I am not getting the power I should in 2nd, and from what I have seen in other threads is that I am accelerating before I am actually shifting into 2nd so I am not actually "in" second.. I stopped by autozone and got a diagnostics test but all of the readings were fine and the guy didn't know what the issue was. If you guys know what is going on some help would be much appreciated.. It may be that the clutch is old but I am having no problems in any other gear reaching a certain speed. I have pretty vague knowledge on cars so don't hate.. Just looking for some help.

 

what part of texas are you from? any mods? Also the heat really rapes us. My car feels slow as heck during the day because of the heat. Could be part of it?

 

Im near dallas.. but the only that I know of when I bought the car is a cold air intake

 

Maybe your supercharger stopped supercharging

 

How many miles? Are you overbosting at all? I would guess a clogged cat and/or broken IC pump.
